Current Events - Style Sheet

Everyone did a great job on the current events. I do have a couple of changes to make to the format and some style comments.

  1. Do not print the articles.
  2. You may print your assignment OR email it to me OR share it with me online. However, you have to discuss your events and your precis with your group and the class so you should be able to access it online.
  3. You need to include the MLA citations for your articles - this should be a Works Cited page at the end. I neglected to include this in the original assignment sheet. This has been updated with an example so you can see exactly how it should look when you turn it in. Use the Research Handbook, or websites like EasyBib or BibMe to create your citations.
  4. Be sure the article you choose for your precis is an opinion or editorial. There were a few that were more factual/news stories.
  5. Everything should be double-spaced. (See the example.)
